if you breastfed, did you notice any pain while nursing when your baby got top teeth??

my daughter has two on the top now (along with 2 on the bottom, bottom never hurt though) but the top two seem to just grind on my nipple or something, its painful.

anyone else experience this?

  • yes because my son went through a stage were he would bite down while nursing. It happens a lot when they are teething.

  • yep. i just unlatched and started over every time. usually she only starts to grind when she's tired and done eating so I just lay her down.

  • Oh, yeah. If their latch wasn't 100%, you notice when they get teeth! Just unlatch and relatch a few times, and your little one will get it.
