Yesterday 2 small red spots showed up on my 10 month old son's face (one on his forehead and one on his cheek). They dont seem to bother him, but i have no idea what they are! Any ideas??

  • It's probably nothing. Did you change detergent or bath soap? use a new lotion? wear different perfume? Unless he runs a fever too i wouldn't worry about it.

  • did you feed him something NEW? introducing foods? That was my son's way of showing allergies - they almost looked like red freckles - didn't puff up or anything, but then he would also get ezcema on his butt from new foods he didn't tolerate

  • Baby acne- my 10 month daughter still occasionally gets it. Put a very little hydrocortizone cream on them until they vanish, and keep his face clean amd dry as much as possible.

  • Thank you all for your inputs! we actually did change his shampoo and body wash the night before last, so im sure thats what it is, unless anything changes, or they dont go away in a day or so, i dont think its anything to worry about. Thanks again!
