Has anyone had a toddler diagnosed with this? We have recently been diagnosed and I am having a hard time understanding why. My LO eats, cheese, yogurt and drinks milk like it is going out of style. I was just looking for a little support.

  • Ricketts is a disease people get from not eating enough foods containing vitamin C. Give your child citrus fruits and citrus fruit juices, and other foods high in vitamin C. Ask your doctor about giving her supplemental vitamin C tablets too.

  • Not a disease from not eating enough vit C--she has a vit D malabsorbtion. She has milk, yogurt, cheese, cheerios, pasta, and a whole range of veggies, as well as legumes.
