Did you know Amman was a religious commune before the depression?

I found this interesting.

Did you know this? After a fire and the depression they commune couldn't keep up and it was hit by a fire so they split up and offered stock to all the members that is handed down generation from generation.

  • There are several communities in America that began life as a religious commune. Utopian societies were popular in the 19th century.
