Catholics have 7, and some protestant churches have two....

What different churches celebrate the different sacraments? Anyone other than Catholics celebrate all 7 or even more?

  • Pretty sure we do...can't honestly say for sure because I've sort of fallen away from going to church, don't have time to pay attention, and right now my head hurts too bad to think about it.

  • The Christian Orthodox Church has never formally determined a particular number of Sacraments. They accept the seven sacraments (or they call them 'mysteries') that the Catholics do as major sacraments.

  • I am Presbyterian. We have two sacraments. Some Protestants do not have any "sacraments." They perform marriages and communion and such but do not refer to them as sacraments. I can't remember which denoms though.
