Just not sure

What are the odds that you could still be pregnant but still bleed for 3-4 days? Because I just figured once you bleed that amount of time you should just consider that a period and that you arent pregnant, but I have recently read differently. What is your opinion??

Thank you

  • Generally speaking, if you have period flow (enough to need a pad/tampon), no matter how long it lasts, you're probably not pregnant. There are rare cases where a woman has a period during pregnancy (an actual period -- spotting is fairly common), but they're few and far between. The most common occurrence of a period during pregnancy is the first period after conception, when there may not be enough hCG built up to stop a period from happening, but even then the period is usually different somehow, shorter or lighter at least (and still not likely). If you're determined that you could still be pregnant, wait a couple of weeks to take a test, or wait and see what your next period is like. But chances are, if you have a period, you're not pregnant.
