  • They haven't killed my kids yet. I do throw them out if they thaw and are not eaten within a day or two. How expired are we talking here? a few weeks or a few months? Things get lost in the deep freeze and I will trow them out if its over a month from expiration. Not a dumb question at all!

  • eat them! frozen cancels out the date.

  • If you eat them the day you thaw them and they are only a couple weeks expired, I would eat them. Most of the time, in a regular freezer, things can hold for up to a month past expiration date. If you are talking one of those little freezers that is just a door inside the fridge, then two weeks is about as far out as I would go.

  • I am a freak.... I wouldn't esp. since it's dairy. My husband eats all things expired and, when the kids are "his" for a meal, he could care less as long as it's not furry or blinking at him

  • Real yogurt with live cultures is good for several weeks past the expiration date. If gogurts are kind with gelatin and HFCS, then toss them.
