How can I break in my new combat boots quickly? Oven?

I have new boots that I wont be wearing that much since I drill one weekend a month now. They are a little snug right now and I just have to bear with them until I get my issue boots which could take 6 months. Any suggestions on breaking them in quickly? I've heard some people talk about putting them in the oven at 200 degrees for an hour. Has anyone tried this before? I am currently using a rolling pin to break down the leather on the sides but its slow and my arms are hurting.

  • Lol Anon. Yeah I do not wear my boots outside of my uniform unless I am at home breaking them in. Although, they are good for trekking and long walks in the snow.
