Funeral: To go or not to go?

My moms aunt died; Her funeral is in Mexico... Anyways
I didn't know her aunt really. I don't know what to do. Go. Don't go?

I should go for closure I guess. What do you think?

  • Whenever you wonder, it means go. You should go.

  • I went to my mother's aunts funeral not too long ago and I found myself asking the same question. I didn't know her really well but I went to be there for my mom, as her support.

    Sorry for your loss.

  • DID you know her, were you close, do you think you need closure, and do you have the money to go to Mexico? If you answered yes to at least 2 of these questions, then you should go. If not, send a sympathy card to her family explaining you were sorry for not making it.

  • Yep I agree w/Bmat (as usual - no wonder she is a "top answerer"). Sounds like you did too and already decided. Glad CM helped you :) so nice to see!
