  • No, you still have to unplug, it is still feeding electricity to it's source

  • The power strip draws power, even if it is off and has nothing plugged into it.

  • anything i've read/heard says you have to unplug....even cell phone chargers, laptop chargers, they need to be unplugged.

  • It shuts off the main flow of electricity to the cords that are plugged into it. However, with it still being plugged into the electrical outlet, it still is being fed electricity. You do eliminate some power waste, but not all.
