i had my baby sept. 14th, and i want to know when am i able to have sex?

  • Usually after your 6 week check up. I was released at 4 post c-section

  • They say to wait 6 weeks. But I only waited 13 days, and I had 75+ stitches, really I think you have decide when you are comfortable.

  • Its supposed to be 6, but they say to at least wait 2 weeks. I waited 4 weeks. Thats when I felt most comfortable.

  • Your Dr will release you at your 6 week checkup. Make sure you are taking BC cause you could easliy get pregnant AGAIN!

  • you really need to wait the 6 weeks, they should have told you this at the hospital, if you dont then you can get an infection since everything is still open and raw (your uterus that is)

  • If you have stopped bleeding and feel ok you can. With all 4 of mine I only waited 2 weeks and never had any trouble.
