Just wondering how you sort your laundry?

My husband and I disagree on sorting laundry. I sort heavy dark's, light dark's, colors, whites, and towels together. Just wondering how every one else does theirs! :)

  • jeans, colors, whites, towels...OR for small loads...jeans and colors, whites and towels. Just depends on how much has built up since I did them last.

  • Whites, colors, towels, sheets/bedding. I only sort dark colors if I have a new pair of dark jeans or something I'm afraid might bleed the first time.

Oh, and whoever said they do towels and socks together, that's what's make them have those little balls!

  • whites, colors, towels & linens. if i know something will bleed heavily, i'll sort a dark load. since i generally wash in warm water, only things that bleed get washed cold. whites & towels/linens get hot water.
