how soon after dilation began did you go into labor?

I know it can be awhile, so I don't need that explained to me, I just want to hear some stories so I can continue my wishful thinking. :)

  • I don't know when I started dilating. I was checked for the first time when I was 37 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I went into labor four days later.

  • The first time I was 2 cent dilated for 2 weeks before my water broke. The second pregnancy i was 3 cent for 2 weeks and then 4 cent for 3 or 4 days before i went into labor. TOO LONG in my opinion. haha

  • With one baby I was dilated to 2 for well over a month. With another I was between 3-4 for a month.
