birthday games for a 3 year old bday party?

my daughter turns 3 dec. 30th and im trying to figure out what im going to do super early for it.
i need ideas for party games for the kids. their's going to be a mixed age range from babies to toddlers. i thought about doing finger paitning....and using grocery bags to make ghetto smocks but i know some parents might not want to risk getting their kids hair etc. messy.....any ideas? were going to be inside not outside since it will cold then. were doing it jan 2nd. of course we have kids dvd's but this is a party, i want to have games and wear the kids out lol, no tjust put on cartoons. when it comes to supplies for the really is not an issue, but i dont want to put down 200 dollars on one game when we all know toddlers attention span wont go past 20 min. on one game lol.

  • Freeze dance and Musical chairs are great for that age range. Not sure what youre doing for food but you can by personal pizzas and let them make their own. Just buy the crusts and some pizza sauce and cheese. Tell the parents to dress them in play clothes to avoid any unwanted messes

  • freeze dance could be cute..
im hesitant with musical chairs...2-3 yr olds get possesive sometimes and one of the lil boys coming is possessive, he might throw a fit if he didnt get into a chair on time lol.

  • playdoh, pin the tail(or tape) on the ...whatever. they usually do not do well with structured activities at that age, you can just let them play.
