Co-sleeping with toddlers

How does this work? Do they actually just fall asleep? I'm just genuinely curious because everytime I pull my son into bed with me even for just a nap he just gets up to play. Even in his crib he plays himself to sleep, he never just lays still!

  • my daughter is 13months old and still nurses to sleep. sometimes she wont nurse and she just plays til she gets tired and wears herself out and goes to sleep on her own. she is still co-sleeping with me and my fiancee.
