tummy time

is tummy time not important after they can roll over? I try to do tummy time and he just keeps rolling he is 12wks

  • thats great he can roll over! yes tummy time is important even after they can roll over. it helps build muscle and balance. and since babies that age are still a little immobile, tummy time can be very entertaining especially if you have tummy-time-friendly toys

  • Yes - even after they can roll over they need tummy time. He/she won't learn to crawl on their back.

  • My son is almost 5 months now and he always rolls over also every time i put him down he will roll over when i put him back on his tummy he gets mad at me and screams till i either put him back on his back or till i pick him up.

  • tummy time is important till they are crawling and mobile. Tummyy time helsp with all arouund physsical development and skills.

  • My daughter hated tummy time. I tried all the time and she would just scream. Once she started rolling over on her own I didn't worry about it anymore because she would just get there by herself. But...she did eventually did everything backwards like cruising before crawling so I am not sure if it's bad that she didn't have much tummy time. She only sleeps on her belly now every night.
