How old are babies when they can hold up their head?

  • my dd started holding her head up briefly around a month but I think she was more like 3 months before she could keep it up...

  • My son is three months and can hold his head up fully for about fifteen-twenty minutes at a time. Once he takes a little break he goes right back to it though.

  • well my baby has been able to pick it up since he was born i was just wondering when they can hold it up on their own for more then a minute or two lol

  • My firstborn was strong and held his up from the beginning. We would actually forget to support his head! I don't remember how old the others were.
