  • get a timer, make it go off every 45min to an hour. have her sit on it, if she goes, set it again for the same time, if she doesn't go, set it for about 20-30 min. every time it goes off, make a big deal that it's POTTY TIME!! even if she doesn't want to go, sit her there anyway. if there is a certain time she goes every day, sit her on the potty then, (like if she goes #2 right after lunch, sit her down after lunch) get her to go after 15-20 minutes every time she has something to drink. also have a reward system, like a 1 sticker for going #1, 2 stickers for #2, or mini marshmellows, ect. after about 3 days of this, she should be "potty trained". i put it in quotes because she may not tell you when she has to go, you have to make sure you pay attention to time and put her on. if it's been a couple hours since she's went, you put her on there. also nag her every few minutes "you gotta go potty?" make it a constant reminder

  • i did this with my son on a tuesday and i won't lie, it was very frustrating the first few days. it was as if the resolve was glued to my hand having to clean the carpet all the time. then that friday, we had NO accidents! yay! on that day i extended the time, letting him go for about an 11/2-2 hours. this was about 2 weeks ago. he still doesn't tell me when he has to go, i have to put him on there in time, and yes, we have an occasional accident, but it's rare. • oh yeah, and it helps when you make them clean their own mess up. obviously not like cleaning with chemicals, but make them take off their own underwear and if it was on tile they can clean it with paper towels.towel, whatever you clean it with. also, even when she has an accident, put her on the potty after it anyway, she could not be done peeing, if she is done, it still sends the message that she's supposed to go in the potty, not in her undies. also repeat "we go peepee in the potty, NOT our underwear". repeat it until she can say it to you, and then keep asking her when she's done sitting on the potty, "where do we go potty?".

  • If she isn't ready she isn't going to do it. Does she show signs of being ready?
