  • lol i play with my kids like that but not as young as this child looks- and she looks like shes doing it pretty rough too

  • Oh wow. I hold my 3 yo upside down all the time in fun and by both legs. But never this young, and this doesn't look like fun. LOL. If my MIL saw this she would be screaming about flipping the babies liver and kidneys. Never figured out if that was something that could really happen or not, but she yells it at me all the time.

  • Well, my 14 mo would always rather be upside down than rightside up, but I wouldn't lift him by one leg at my side like that. It seems dangerous. I always hold him by his hips/belly or let him lay on my legs (extended like a slide).

  • I will hold my daughter then support her back as I lean forward and she is then upside down, but I have never just dangled her by her leg before. I am not really sure what I would do. I mean, that much strain on her hip can't be good for her. And if that child twists just a little, mom looses grip and then baby hits the ground hard. I don't like it at all.

  • If I saw that I would assume she was some sort of missing link between humans and chimps.

I hold DD upside down by BOTH ankles when we're playing around, she's 18 months and thinks it's hysterical. But that woman makes it look like that's just how she carries her kid around!

  • oh wow, i don't do that :-) that's pretty tough!! it can affect the kid's blood circulation, that's just not proper.
