I have a ham and crackpot question

3 months ago I had a 5 lb water added ham that I threw in the freezer on it's experation date. It should still be good right?

Will it be okay to put it in the crockpot while it's still frozen?

  • Your ham will be FINE for your family to eat. It most likely will take a longer time than you're used to for it to cook through since it's frozen, but if you have a day or so to thaw it on the counter, you're in business for the standard 8 hours on low, 4-5 hours on high cooktime. Hint: If you add a few whole cloves and pineapple slices to the bottom of the crockpot as well as a little liquid, you'll get some AWESOME flavor! :)
