How does this work?

If my ex spouse starting receiving Social Security Benefits, would I get a check directly from him or SSI?
He will know if he has been granted SSI next week and he said the kids would get a check for $335 each a month. Plus, they are going back 14 months for retro pay. Will I get that back money also? Do I get that or does he and he pays me?
He has not paid CS in a LONG time. This is no where what my set CS is suppose to be.

  • If he gets SSI they change what you are suppose to get to a portion of what he gets. Usually they send it directly to but this can change depending.
