What does it cost to homeschool a child?

Do the curriculum's cost money? I know there are some home school programs where the child actually attends class for a couple hours a week or something. Do those cost money?
What can you tell me about home school that i don't already know?

I'm considering it for my older son, but i'm not sure if i can do it.

  • I pay about 50.00 a month in supplies if I splurge. Majority of the stuff I get for free off the internet.

  • if you homeschool you can get a license to do so
one is where you just home school independently and you maay chose to buy the text books other schools use or not. Its all up to you and how you want to coordinate his learnning.

If you do it thru a private school you have to pay whatever the school charges for books and materials...most of the time you can get your money back for the material but private schools usually charge a tuition and thats where you pay a lot of unnecessary money...being that your teaching the child not the school
