why is this happening

okay this is a little diffrent but a while ago i go a female kitten i cant remmemmber how old she is to be exact but almost about 6 months anyways she is bleeding i think from her butt i am wondering if this is normal or if i should take her to the vet she keeps meowing all the time i dont think she has worms i give her meds for that i am not sure because i have never owned a girl cat that wasnt fixed

  • cats do not bleed when they are in heat, dogs do. i would take her to a vet asap that is not normal at all.

  • if you found the blood in her stool, she could have "cleaned" herself to the point of irritation and when she had her bowel movement, left a little blood. animals chew and lick on themselves to the point of damage sometimes.

    meowing all over the place usually means she's in heat. so awful! set an appointment to get her fixed. She will escape and get knocked up.

    let the vet know about the blood when you call to make her appointment.

  • my cat is a 3yrs old and never bled and she is not fixed i know bad bad bad i just never took her in and got her taken care of because of money. She does go into heat like every few months with the ear percing meow....ugggg
