  • tsk tsk, Carpy~liberals in DC can't be bothered with figures and numbers...pshawwww, stats? This Administration... Fooooey..... They can't even define the formula they use to determine the number of jobs saved and created.... You re asking WAY to much from liberals in Washington.

  • What a crock of horse crap! The actual is how much we are down in jobs, the projected is what they say it will look like in one year. We are going to put almost double the amount of people out of work in jobs?! REALLY???! My state, NC, will go from -75,000 to +105,000? Where are these jobs going to come from? Oh, these will be "government" jobs even though the government doesn't actually make anything. Oh, wait, I'm wrong. They make cars!

  • Hmm, job creation...yea right...if this cap & trade crap passes Southwestern VA will be completely and totally shut down. They will take every job away from the residents of the mining towns because the grocery stores depend on the miners pay check to keep their business running, so do the locally owned insurance companies, car lots, etc...its all tied together. I don't think it helped one single bit personally...and they are just creating more and more problems which are taking away more and more jobs.

  • I'd like to point out that the figures are through September 2009, while the stimulus projection is supposed to go through to December 2010. Right now those numbers are kind of like counting your chicks before the eggs hatch. It'd be easier to for me to pissed off if it was September 2010, just a few months before the December 2010 projections, instead of more than a year before them.

BTW, everyone knew there'd be MORE job loss before there would be gain, however statistics also show that fewer jobs are being lost and that unemployment rates are starting to lower.

Actually, both political parties are notorious for ignoring polls unless those polls work in their favor. Remember the polls about Bush and Cheney? They didn't care nor did they do a damn thing to change it.

  • Jafra_mommy, then WHY do they [DC libs]brag about jobs saved/created, when they don't want ALL sides analyzed? You can't say, don't count your chicks before they are hatched but then release non verified numbers on jobs saved/created. That my friend is ONE sided analysis... which IS the Obama Administration. Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, my arse!

  • If you'd like to discuss the Obama administrations numbers, then post a question about it. The link posted above is comparing the numbers that are expected in DECEMBER 2010 to the numbers from September 2009. It is, quite literally, counting your chicks before the eggs hatch. That simple. Unless you're psychic grlygrlz2, then you don't know what the numbers will be in 2010.
