  • No. People have been predicting the end of the world since, well, since the world began. I don't believe in that kind of stuff.

  • i really hope not esp considering dec 21 is my youngest child's birthday.. i read somewhere that the only thing that is going to happen is the sun is going to come up differently and that was what the Mayans were referring to..

  • ^^ haha that's funnny

And I think something will happen on that day. Possibly something big, but I don't necessarily think the world will end.

  • Yep alot of people thought the end was near when 2000 rolled around for the Y2K!

Thanks to Prince and his song, 1999.....Im gonna party like its 1999.

Well I did not party and woke up to 2000. I slept IN the New year. I did not ring it in.

  • The Mayans see 2012 as a POSITIVE change. Let me reiterate that word...P-O-S-I-T-I-V-EEEEEE! They didn't see it as the "end of the world." They think we'll enter a new age of spiritual enlightenment. Perhaps we'll explore more of the ocean or space, or we'll discover anti-gravity and can live like the people in Star Wars.

But really? The world ending? Hardly. Don't believe what you see on the History Channel.
