I had my son sept 10, and i didnt contract or go into labor. I'm very unconfertable wearing pads that I didn't know if it would be alright to start wearing tampons?

What anyone think?

  • my gyno said dont use tampons until the 6 week check-up with her. Ask your doctor, because its kinda risky

  • Don't do it. the pads are equiped to handle the flow from having a child, it's different from having a baby than a normal period. I also had a c-section and I was amazed at how much I was bleeding.

  • No. The shedding of the lining after birth is the same process rather you had a vaginal or a c-section delivery. Using a tampon can lead to a serious infection. Stick with night time pads.

  • You should never wear a tampon during post pardum bleeding. You can get a serious infection. Once you have your first period, you can wear a tampon though.
