  • Nope. They're on fall break next week. They will have a fall break party next Tues (the day before they go on break).

  • Yes, they will be having a Halloween party (with alternative plans for kids who don't celebrate Halloween.) We have a Christmas concert each year too (and it's called a Christmas concert, though the songs tend to be more secular than religious.) I was kind of surprised when my oldest started school because I thought that some of those things were not politically correct anymore, but no one seems to have an issue with it.

  • Good question!!! LOL!!! I don't know!?

I should go check on that huh!!!

She goes to a Christian school and Halloween is on a Saturday this year, so they might not be doing anything. But I am not sure. I should check on that.

  • Nope, he is in middle school. I work in a Catholic preschool/elementary school and we are having a Halloween party for the preschool and the elementary school is having a Halloween party tomorrow night, complete with treats, costumes, games and a "haunted house".

  • My girls had their Fall Carnival at school tonight. They had a hotdog dinner (a dog, drink and chips $3 each person), games, prizes, snacks and one of those inflatable jump things. (I wish I knew what they were called!) But no costumes were allowed :(

  • Yep, both schools. My preschooler goes to a school run by our park district. Her party is on Thursday (she's excited). My other kids go to a Catholic school and their party is next Friday. They have a costume parade, haunted house (put together by the 7th and 8th graders) and a fall frolic with games and prizes along with their class party. They love it and I don't think they do any work that day...just goof off and have fun.
