  • Butt paste is the BEST

however you can just wash with mild soapy running water 3x a day and allow to air dry for about 20 minutes after each wash and it will go away all its own

  • I have used a lot of kinds (A&D, butt paste, balmex.....) Desitin seems to work the best. If I put it on the baby before bed the rash/irritation is gone by morning. The other ones take a day or two if they even work.

  • I really like Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment. My daughter has super sensitive skin and gets rash's often. Butt paste is okay and desitin took days to clear on her, but I really like Dr. Smith's. I find it worked quickly. A&D works well on my little girl too. If it is really red, the A&D ointment cream with zinc will take the burning red away quickly. Honestly, its kinda like a game finding the right stuff. What works great on one baby may not work on another. Good Luck!

  • I've tried Bordeaux's Butt Paste and Desitin neither was that great. Burt's Bees is THE BEST! WAY better then the other 2 brands I'd tried. The rash cleared up much faster and it smells like lavender which I love!
