what do you do when your husbands friend wants to borrow money?

  • Say the word NO. Or say NO we are broke, that works well for me. I am alway broke when it come to people wanting to barrow money.

  • One of his friends have asked. It's never anything big.. like maybe $20-40.. so I don't have a problem with it.

  • She never said he asked HER. She just asked what to do if he asked to borrow money.


     


    Maybe he asked both of them? I guess that would depend on the person and the amount. Of course if he asked for a thousand I'd look at him like he sprouted another head.. but if it's like $20 or something like that, then I would.

  • Don't ever lend money to anyone. Offer groceries if they are bad off, but not money, not ever.

  • Before DH got sick, let them borrow it. It was no big deal, we just assumed that we wouldn't get it back and if we did then it was great.

  • under 50 if it's occassionally no problem but large sums of money they'd get the same response from both my husband and me we don't lend money sorry.
