  • My son also has autism (Asperger's Syndrome). He carries a little pair of foam ear plugs that he uses when it gets too loud. Can you son be moved (with possibly a friend) to a quiet corner of the cafeteria to eat away from the noise? Also, ask the special ed. teacher at your school about other things that could help. They usually have access to all sorts of equipment.
