Can a woman have more than two Cesarean Section surgeries?

Two children with C-section and planning to have another baby.

  • I'm scheduled for #4 in early February. And my OB said as long as I continue to heal up well I can keep having babies!

  • I've had 3 and my doctor didn't put any restrictions on the possibility of us having 1 more baby, which would be a c-section as well.

  • Most doctors recommend not having more than 3. I've never heard of a dr cutting a mom off at 2 before.

    I'm having my 3rd c-section on December 16th.

  • Sure. But she doesn't have to either.
    Some doctors don't mind the # and others have a "cut-off" point.

  • I had 4 and my anesthesologist when I had my 2nd child in 1988 had had 6. So, yes, it cane be done.
