Pediatricians say no to gripe water for a 4 months old baby. Why, any idea?

my pediatrician says not to give gripe water to my 4 months old baby, but that is the only remedy I have for her tummy ache. Still she is suffering from the burping problem. Is it bad to give gripe water?

  • Gripe water has herbs and I'm not very familiar with herbs and their side effects. You can however use Mylicon infant gas drops from birth. I use the Target brand generic infant gas drops. They are half the price of Mylicon and work just as well.
