  • im sure he"s not licking his blanket persay..and its not a problem! hes just working his tongue! remember hes just new to everything so if he finds that his tongue is "movable" hes going to explore..KWIM?

  • Nope. Babies use their mouths to explore different textures and tastes. Get used to it... they keep on doing it! DD is almost 10 months and puts anything and everything she finds in her mouth, like carpet lint and wires.

  • My son is almost 4 months old and licks/ gums everything since birth. I think its normal. They are just exploring!

  • Don't worry about it. Just make sure you're placing baby on a clean blanket and also that he/she hasn't spit up and is licking that.

  • She's just exploring. That's about all she can do right now. Just make sure the blanket it clean and not a really fuzzy blanket, to prevent choking. My son licks everything. He puts everything right to his mouth. If anything brushes by his face, gets close to his chin, he opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out to try and get to it. Some of the things he licks is ridiculous. Our dog doesn't lick as much as he does! :)
