weight watchers alternatives?

trying to get off the pregnancy weight! i'm interested in weight watchers but i'm hesitant to spend all of the money. have any of you guys tried another program, online or elsewhere, that has worked well for you? i'm not sure which route to go. any tips?

  • Don’t buy junk food
    Walk, or do other exercise, for at least 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week.
    Make sure that you are drinking enough water, at least 8 8oz glasses a day.
    Eat an apple or big pile of veggies before meals.
    Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, in at least 3 different colors.
    Eat 6-7 servings of whole grains a day.
    Eat at least two servings of legumes a day.
    Cut way back on meat and dairy.

  • i don't know how anyone eats that much in one day..i've tried! that's a LOT of servings :)

  • Join Curves and change eating habits. Add more protein, fiber fruits and veges and dont eat three hrs before bed. Its the best 30 minute workout ever and its all women and it cheap. You cant go into a weightloss situation thinking of it as a diet. It has to be life changing and habit changing. If you diet then you go back to old habits when your done. I have done weightwathers also and did lose however, I am doing mcuh better and having more fun with curves and changing old habits. good luck
