  • i've been told that eating a slice of bread would help. something that is absorbent that could take up the acid in your stomach... i personally haven't tried it but i've heard people use it for natural remedies. however, you would have to wait till the bread could soak up the acid. good luck

  • Apple cider vinegar one teaspoon in water. I am not a doctor try at your own risk, but it worked for me. :)

  • Just hope I don't pee myself from drinking water so late. Bladder is crazy, how am I supposed to drink 100 ounces of fluid a day when a sip of water makes me have to pee.

Trying to sleep now, so tired.

  • Like the pp said, a plain slice of bread is good, so are dry saltine crackers. Yummy, I know... But it will help absorb the acid. It won't be an instant thing, but it should work fairly soon.

Btw - if it's really really bad, you might need to eat a couple of slices of bread, or more than one handful of crackers.

Hope you feel better soon. :-(

  • Eek I have terrible heartburn too! But I would def not eat carbs. That ALWAYS makes mine worse, but I guess it's different for everyone. Luckily my dr. prescribed me Zantac and it does the trick. Before that I ate a LOT of tums lol. I also hate milk, but it works a little.. try ice cream! That always made me feel better!
