question for asparagus lovers: what do you do with the ends you trim off?

If you have any good recipes that you use them in, please share--mucho appreciated! (I hate throwing away things).

  • The trimmed ends are trimmed for a reason my dear. They're not meant to be eaten.

  • I am big on cooking with a lot of vegetables and natural herbs overall. But another one of my personal favs is creating stir-fry skillet meals. How about steaming the tips and then adding them to vegetables/meat in a stir fry over rice meal.

  • don't eat them... they're woody and weird. use them in stock or throw them out! also... a great asparagus recipe:
