Does your belly button suppose to hurt toward the end of the pregnancy?

  • yes b/c the skin is so thin & it's strectched out so far it hurts mine hurt even after i had the baby gl it gets better

  • mine did and it started waayyy early too. i researched it and found out that the tissue below the skin is the thinnest under your bellybutton compared to the rest of your abdomin. not much to help other than take some tylenol, a hot shower, and keep your belly supported when you are lying down on your side

  • There is a ligament that goes from your belly button - it used to be for blood vessels to provide nutrients and oxygen when you were in-utero. It may hurt because it is being stretched.
