  • I would probably take her to urgent care.

However, i have never cared for sick infant, nor have i ever been the sole caregiver to any infant.

  • I would take her now. Your mom raised kids in a time that swine flu wasn't running wild. Before last year, we'd all know this sounds like a virus that will run its course. But the symptoms you describe could also be swine flu which has been vary bad for infants.

Also the breathing issue is bad. Even before swine flu, doctors have said if your infant or toddler is struggling to breath you better take them to the dr right away. Because that could be pneumonia or RSV. Left untreated both are fatal to an infant.
