Baby pushing and grunting

For the past month my baby will occasionally push and grunt and get red in the face while he's taking a bottle and other times, too. Does he have a tummy ache or what's going on?

  • Sounds like he's trying to poopie to me. All my kids had that face... their faces would go blood red!

  • Yes, I agree with Gremlyn, baby is trying to poop! My daughter does the exact same thing. Yes, even when she is eating! All the time. Babies just do that they are always pushing and grunting! Its normal, nothing to be worried about! Good Luck Momma!

  • Yup poop or passing gas! But, does he actually manage to poop sometime afterward? He might be a little constipated too, is he fussy?
