  • I feel like a cheapskate here. We started with a quarter, and graduated to a dollar for each tooth for my dd.

  • $10, but we told him that the TF leaves more the first time because it's special.

  • That sounds good. I was thinking $5. And then maybe a toy or book next time (nothing expensive).

  • Well my kiddo isn't old enough yet to lose teeth but I do remember what my sister got for her first tooth. My mom sent me to get money out of her wallet to put under her pillow and I, being rather young at the time, grabbed the first bill I could find. Turns out it was a 20. Yeah, my mom wasn't too thrilled, lol. Usually we would just get one dollar per tooth :)

  • $1 for every tooth, no matter which one it is. We couldn't afford any more, especially with 3 kids losing teeth at the same time. The week my middle daughter lost her first tooth (she was 5 1/2) her older sister and brother both lost teeth. Between the 3 of them they lost like 7 teeth in 10 days. I was scrambling to find enough quarters, especially since we don't usually keep cash in the house.
