  • We live in an apartment right now, it's low income but pretty nice. 3bd 2 bth townhouse and we only pay $244 a month. We are actually looking to buy a house in texas within the next year and we are hoping for a 4bd 2-3bth with a big from yard, prefferably in the middle of nowhere but we aren't that picky.
    I'm happy for you! Congrats!

  • we are renting, but we are super young anyway... its a 3 bd 1.5 bath, about 1400 sqft, big closets, kinda small kitchen/eating area, large living room... and we live in fort collins and we only pay $600/mo which is cheap considering a smilar house is going for 1700/mo down maybe 6 houses from us. woah!

  • We have a cute little cottage built in 1918. It's 1058sq. feet w/2 1/2 bedrooms (1 is a loft room), 1 bath & a basement that is really just a cellar with inside access (used to be outside access until the '70's when they added on to the kitchen, the stairs to nowhere are still in the basement....they go to the middle of the kitchen now). We have a 4 car detached garage and a cute little fenced in yard. We remodeled in 2007, took out 1/2 of the wall in between the kitchen and living room & built a table in to it....1/2 is on the kitchen side and 1/2 is on the side that was once a entry area that had no purpose. I love my little house.

  • We own our home, it's a 1540 sq ft ranch, with a detached garage/shop on 5 acres in the country. We totally remodeled the house 2 yrs ago after the people we were renting it to destroyed it. We liked it so much after we finished that we decided to stay..

  • We live in military housing. We're in a 3 bedroom right now. It's 1100 sq ft, super small for 5 people. We have a decent sized livingroom, decent dining room (connected to the living room), smaller almost galley-like kitchen with larger eat in area on one end, 2 smaller bedrooms (about 10x10), and Master bedroom (about 12x12). We have 2 small bathrooms and a laundry area that is like a small hallway. We've got a decent sized back yard (well decent for military housing lol). Oh and it's a duplex. But next month (2 weeks from now) we are moving into another base house, with 4 bedrooms and an additional 300 sq ft more than this house :)

  • Renting 2 bd 1 ba 850sqft house with a decent size yard for 900 a month (yeah TINY but that's a decent deal around here). I'm in shock about the person that rents for $244 a month, you couldn't even rent out a room here for that! Hopefully we'll be able to buy soon.
