Do vaginal sonograms hurt at all?

I have to go in today and get one and am reeeeeally scared! Just wandering if they hurt or are uncomfortable in any way?

  • they are uncomfortable because its a wand someone you dont know is inserting into your vagina.

    shouldn't be painful.

  • It feels weird but doesn't hurt. If you can have sex without it hurting, you can have this done.

  • No vibration...It is shaped like a plastic vibrator with a ky jelly filled condom on the end so it will seem that it is huge but it's really mostly jelly so that they can move it around with out 'carressing' (for lack of a better word) your insides.

  • If you're anxious be sure to use a lot of vaseline lub. When I had mine I inserted myself to best determine comfort.
