How to you figure miles/time while on a trip?

Say you are going on a trip 4 hours away but as you go by the miles sign how do you figure out how much time you have to get there?

Ex: 266 miles to get to your destination.

Then 88 miles and so on of course you are getting closer to your destination.

  • I divide by 60 so 266 miles would take 4 1/2 hrs. assuming you will be going 60 mph.

  • If you are doing a math problem, we would need more info. If you are actually going on a trip, I would try or . . . actually these days, I would just plug it into our GPS. I LOVE that thing!

  • I just turn on my GPS and it gives me a countdown on how long!
