Do you think someone can actually die of a broken heart?

  • Yes. But not SOLELY from a broken heart. I believe if someone has medical problems and their loved one dies, they can go, too. I whole heartedly, sincerely believe that is what happend to my grandfather.

  • Yes I think they can. Lots of times you hear about one elderly person dying and then their spouse dies shortly after.

  • Like a heart attack? Now it's broken! I'm kidding. I think they die from what happens after the broken heart. Suicide. Not eating for days. Self mutilation.

  • Yes that is why sometimes a spouse dies shortly after their mate dies.

    Does suicide count?

    I bought a car from a guy's son...the guy shot himself after a woman he loved so much left him.....It didn't bother me I bought a car where the previous owner shot himself as long as it wasn't in the car.
