just wondering?

exactly what does wrapping you hair do? i remember i got it warped when i was younger and i started crying because i said i looked like a . my hair was long it warped around like 4 times it just looked and felt funny. to me. but yes what is it really for ? just to keep you hair out ur face? lol

  • Actually wrapping hair is a "protective style." It has a few benefits but three majors are body, maintaining a style, and moisture. When you wrap your hair, you are using your head as a mold in a way.

  • Wrapping? you mean like black people wrap their hair? it's to keep it straight so when you take it down in the morning its not frizzy (stays flat) and has a slight wave at the end. It looks nice. I do it to my daughters hair when i straightn it.
