Do your children dress better than you?

I used to dress nice and always go shopping fo myself. Until my daughter was born. Now I don't ever buy myself anything My daughter has the best everything Nikes, newest Pedipeds, clothes from Janie and Jack, Gymboree, The gap and Macys. Man am I jealous. Why does this happen to us? I rather spend my money on her than on myself.

  • We dress the same. I buy all our clothes at Target (for the most part). Although, I have better shoes. I always get myself name brand at Sports Authority since I wear my shoes for years. My kids get their shoes at Payless or Target since they go through them in a few months.
Otherwise we all dress the same.

  • My son usually has better clothes than me- I only own 3 pairs of jeans that fit me! But the way he looks reflects me more than the way I look! (Hes taken care of, so why does it matter if I look a little less?)

  • Me too.
I have the worst habit of always putting myself last.
Even my dh has more clothes than me. It's almost as though I have lost interest in myself. I don't usually buy anything for me unless I HAVE to have it.

  • My children will always have better clothes because they grow so fast but I don't mind.
