What cooking oil is good for frying?

I bought crisco on sale hate it, then last week they had another name brand on sale it stunk too, no crispy chicken.

I will stick to shoprite, I don't eat it often, but when I do, the best part is the crisp..... :) umm, ummm good.

  • I use Great Value Vegetable oil from Walmart....because it doesn't stink when frying. Stink as in smelly when it gets hot. LOL

  • any kind of peanut oil works best. it gives the food the right crisp and doesnt make it soggy.
