can a baby get dehydrated if i dont drink much water?

exclusively breast feeding 4 mth old. (i hope this isn't a stupid ?)

  • No. Your milk would stay about the same and you would become dehydrated.

  • There *is* a risk of your own supply depleting...but what you do will impact YOU first.

    If you don't like water, then some other liquid. 64 ounces daily. Could be water, could be juice, could be tomato soup. LIQUID. (Though if you do that much juice you'll up your risk of diabetes and weight gain.)
