vaginal infection, 5-6 weeks pregnant

hi ladies, i have vaginal itching from time to time anyway. basically i have sensitive skin and have to use certain laundry soaps and soaps but i get itchy a lot anyway. when i got pregnant, i started itching but thought it was just that which my OB calls contact dermititis ;) but starting yesterday the itching became internal as well as external so i knew i had an infection :( and now i have noticed some greenish discharge, just like giant gooey boogers. sorry! not much at all just a bit on my TP. my first prenatal isn't for FOUR weeks so i am going to have to go see an OB or midwife sometime next week, but until then...any advice or anything? how worried should i be? i have read that vaginal infections can cause preterm labor but i'm hoping it can't do much in early pregnancy but if anyone knows better please tell me. thanks for any help. please no rude comments, i appreciate your respect. thanks

  • You can still get yeast infections, bladder infections, bacterial infections etc.... while preg. and a lot of times it's easier when your preg. and common in women. Just tell your doctor.
