mold on my bread!! will my baby be okay?

i ate some toast and while i was eatin it i thought it had a funny smell and tasted weird. well i went back (after eating the bread) and noticed that the bread was molded!! i mean not real bad but i seen a few spots on a few pieces! do u think my baby will be okay???

  • its just penicilin which hasnt been proven bad for babies

    plus yours was just a little bit on bread

    "Eating moldy bread certainly isn't recommended. If you're otherwise healthy, however, it's not likely to make you sick.

    Rarely, certain molds may produce mycotoxins that can cause illness. These mycotoxins are poisonous substances found mainly in grains and nuts. Moldy bread may contain bacteria that could cause a food-borne illness as well.

    There's no need to call your doctor about the moldy bread unless you develop symptoms of illness. Be on the lookout for:

    * nausea
    * vomiting
    * diarrhea
    * abdominal pain or cramping
    * fever"

    From what I could find online, it won't hurt the baby.
